Moorditj House
(Supervised Bail Program)
Moorditj House is a suburban home that provides supported accommodation for young people between the ages of 12 – 18 years, who have been granted ‘supervised bail’ by the Children’s Court and whose parent (or primary care giver) is unable to offer the necessary support.
Residents are referred to the program by the Department of Justice.
Residents attend our Youth Options Program 5 days per week and are provided counselling support. Assistance is provided for young people to re-engage with their parent/s and / or primary carer.
The young people are supported by our professional staff and carers who provide a listening ear, and who assist the young person develop appropriate coping and living skills.
Moorditj House provides a supportive, drug free atmosphere for the young people to experience as far as possible a normal home and family life.
